The Consistory
Governance & Oversight
The consistory is the governing body of Trinity Covenant Church, composed of ordained elders and deacons who together shepherd and serve the congregation. Their calling is to govern the church according to the Word of God and our confessional standards.
Elders are charged with the spiritual oversight of the congregation — teaching, admonishing, and ensuring the purity of doctrine and worship. Deacons are ordained to the ministry of mercy, caring for the material and practical needs of those entrusted to their charge.
