Who We Are
Trinity Covenant Church is a confessional congregation located in Denver, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. We are gathered around the faithful preaching of God's Word and the right administration of the holy sacraments, striving to worship God according to His revealed will.
We stand in the historic Reformed and evangelical tradition, holding to the confessional standards that have defined orthodox Christianity for centuries. Our congregation seeks to be a welcoming community where the whole counsel of God is proclaimed and where believers of all ages are nurtured in faith and discipleship.
Trinity Covenant Church is a member congregation of the Evangelical and Reformed Synod, an association of confessional Reformed and evangelical churches committed to the Great Commission and the historic faith.
What We Believe
The Three Ecumenical Creeds
Trinity Covenant Church confesses the Three Ecumenical Creeds as faithful summaries of the Holy Scriptures and the inheritance of the universal Church.

The Apostles' Creed
The most ancient summary of the Christian faith, confessing belief in the Triune God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — and the cardinal facts of Christ's life, death, resurrection, and ascension.
Council of Nicaea, A.D. 325 / 381
The Nicene Creed
Established at the First and Second Ecumenical Councils to define the full divinity of the Son and the Holy Spirit against Arian error. The universal creed of the Church.
c. 5th century
The Athanasian Creed
A precise and comprehensive statement of Trinitarian orthodoxy and the two natures of Christ, long used in Western liturgy as a guard against heresy.

Confessional Documents
In addition to the Ecumenical Creeds, Trinity Covenant Church holds to the following confessional documents as subordinate standards to Holy Scripture.
The Augsburg Confession
1530Presented to Emperor Charles V at the Diet of Augsburg, the Augsburg Confession remains the primary confessional document of Lutheran and Reformed catholicity, articulating the evangelical faith on justification, the church, and the sacraments.
Articles of Religion
1801 American RevisionAdapted from the Thirty-Nine Articles of the Church of England for the American context, these articles define the doctrine of the church in its Reformed and evangelical inheritance.
The Heidelberg Catechism
1563Composed in Heidelberg under the direction of Elector Frederick III, this beloved catechism has comforted and instructed generations of believers in the Reformed tradition. Its three-part structure — guilt, grace, and gratitude — encompasses the whole of Christian doctrine.

Trinity Covenant Church is a member congregation of the Eastern Classis Synod, an association of confessional Reformed and evangelical churches (Evangelical and Reformed Synod). We are grateful for the fellowship, accountability, and shared mission that the Synod provides.
